ELEC/COMP 425
The course covers fundamental concepts underlying the architecture of modern computer systems. Computer architecture provides the conceptual framework for
designing computers that meet the needs of diverse computing applications while dealing with the constraints and opportunities afforded by constantly evolving
technology. Computer architectures embody fundamental systems concepts in hardware and software to judiciously balance tradeoffs within a complex design space.
Announcements
- Masoud will be available in DH 3033 between 1pm and 4pm this Friday (Dec. 10th) for consultation about the Verilog project.
- Take Home Test can be signed out from Kim Hardy (DH 2023). It may be a good idea to check with her (twh2@rice.edu) or me (pjv@rice.edu) before heading over.
- Tests need to be returned within 24 hours to Kim Hardy .
