This course will introduce the key concepts of robotics. The course will cover sensing, localization, mapping, motion planning, and state estimation. There will be a large laboratory component, with lectures to cover important concepts. There will be considerable software development in C. Lab times will be arranged in the first week of class.
Undergraduates and graduate students from computer science, electrical engineering, bioengineering, mechanical engineering, and biology/chemistry are encouraged to take this class.
There are no formal pre-requisites for this class. However, you will be doing a lot of programming, and should be somewhat comfortable with the C programming language.
