The Buchannan text was selected because it has many worked examples,
and is economical.  However, it is a little disjointed and does not 
follow the order I introduce the course material.

There are more than one hundred finite element textbooks in Fondren
Library.  Check out one of interest to you to serve as an alternate
source of information.  Turn in a note giving the title and author
and a couple of sentences about why it was of interest to you.
