• 8/25/04: April learns emacs!
• 5/11/04: The final grade sheet is available here. While be sure and e-mail comp201 if you find any incorrect or missing scores!
• 5/7/04: The solution to Exam 3 has been posted on the Exam Resources page. The histogram of all the exam scores is available there as well.
• 4/21/04: Come see what you can do in COMP410 (which you can do right after Comp202)! Cutting edge programming! Real-life scenarios! Distributed computing! (Technical abstract)
• 4/21/04: The Exam 3 Need-To-Knows have been cobbled together and posted (see the Exam Resources page)-- check back often as it will be updated more than once.
• 3/18/04: For those interested in registering for Comp202 for Fall 2004, it is listed as Comp212 by the Registrar in Esther.

• Java Resources Web Site (http://www.exciton.cs.rice.edu/JavaResources) -- Tons of information on everything from Java syntax to design patterns.
• The Newsgroup: -- Read it daily! ( Problems accessing the newsgroup?)
  
• Comp212 (http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/~comp212) -- Second semester of the Comp210/Comp212 introductory sequence. Covers similar material to Comp201, but starts at a more advanced level.

SOFTWARE RESOURCES:

• ALL students are required to be able to use the Owlnet PC (or Mac) computers in Symonds I, II, Ryon and Mudd. If you don't have one already, set up your PC/Mac password by going to the following Owlnet site: http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/webpcpasswd.shtml. You must have a PC/Mac password before you can use the computers in the lab!
• DrJava can be downloaded for free from http://www.drjava..org
• The Java 2 Standard Edition, Software Development Kit ("SDK") (required by DrJava) can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com/j2se/. Download and install the version without NetBeans!
• Store your data in your Owlnet Unix account and access it from anywhere on campus from both PC's and Unix workstations. To connect to your Unix account from a PC by "mapping" it, see the following directions: http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/~comp100/03-fall/Tutorials/map_network_drive.html
• Connexions information, including the plugins needed for Mozilla, Netscape, and Internet Explorer (note that IE cannot display the roadmap): http://www.cnx.rice.edu
