We did accidentally leave one big issue out in our discussion on Monday, plus we didn't get to a few others:  

• How to connect to group chats in multiple rooms.
• What defines a room? 
  •  Is a room a stub or a fully serialized object?
  • Does a room contain the local connection?
  • The difference between the RMI room object vs the overall room management in a chat client.
• How to add one's self to a room.
• How to disconnect from a room, including disconnecting from all rooms.
