COMP 405 Spring 2014	HW01:  Finite State Machines

This assignment will focus on the State Design Pattern  (see also here), its use and rammifications.

Goals of your program    :

• Demonstrate "dynamic reclassification", that is, how an object changes behavior, i.e. appears to change its class, according to its past history.
• Decouple the state transitions from the state structure.  The state transitions should be modifiable without touching the code for the state structure of the system.
• Extensibility -- the next assignment will ask you to modify the system to dynamically modify the available states and the transitions.

In addition to your program, you will create a description and analysis of your program as per the above goals and the general assignment guidelines.

Peer review feedback on your work will be part of the next assignment.
