As a computer scientist, your success depends on your ability to persuade others that your work is important and accurate. You need to become skilled at explaining complex concepts and research results to a variety of audiences: colleagues, funding agencies, policy makers, and the public. In next Monday's seminar we will identify and discuss the features of effective technical presentations, including tips on how to organize a coherent argument, project a professional ethos, and handle questions.
