Modern Means of Feedback Elimination

There are three basic means of feedback elimination. The first and
most common technique is careful placement of microphones.  It is very
possible that with a stationary set up an audio engineer can set up the microphones
in such a way that feedback is very unlikely.

Another way is through the adjustment of Equalization levels and
overall gain of a system.  If the frequency only has a gain loud enough
to hear in the audience, but not enough to reflect back to the mic with
any significant amount of power then no feedback will occur.

The last way, is to use a feedback suppression system much like
the one we designed, however until recently all of these systems were analog
and thus cut out a large portion of the speech.
