In addition to first and second order digital filters we made a couple of elliptical filters to see if they measured up to the claims made in class. As we can hear in recovered signals section and see here in the spectrograms, elliptical filters are very effective. The only downside of the elliptical filters is that phase responce is very nonlinear which causes distortion. For our purposes this was ok because we could still understand the signal.
