This page lists the results of the simulation of our PLA. Note that there is only one data flow through the states of our PLA. Below we list the command files necessary to simulate the PLA through one iteration (Phase 1 and Phase 2) and several timing diagrams of the results from IRSIM.
These are links to the command files used to simulate one iteration. The first link is to the main command file and the remaining three are included in the main command file in order to simulate for a large number of clock cycles.
Phase 1 Simulation - This plot shows the first half of the simulation, or the calculation of the error. (Postscript file available from the link below)
Phase 2 Simulation - This plot shows the second half of the
simulation, or the updating of the weights. (Postscript file available
from the link below)
Phase 1 & 2 Simulation - This plot shows the complete simulation through both phases. The far right of the plot shows the beginning of a second iteration. (Postscript file available from the link below)
