This is the project page for the
PISCES graphics chip, the class project for ELEC 422 Group A, Fall
1999.

| 5.1.00 | Testing results are in! Go check out how our chips fared. |
| 12.8.99 | Our group received 3rd place in the AMD design contest! Don't we look happy? (We're the three medium-sized ones...) Sure, an Athlon would've been nice, but I'll take $50 any day.. :) |
| 12.7.99 | Our chip has a new name! Marketing has decided that PISCES is sexier. |
| 12.5.99 | Our first simulation results are in! |
| 12.1.99 | Sorry for the lack of updates in November. All the time I had to put into VLSI I figured would be best spent on the actual project, rather than in keeping the web page up-to-date. In any case, here is a state machine description, as well as a block diagram. The leaf cells page might also be updated in short order -- we are no longer using master/slave edge-triggered registers, but instead level-sensitive latches. |
| 11.2.99 | Our leaf cells page is up. |
| 10.14.99 | Lots of new stuff today! We have a register map, a pinout map, and our instruction set. Stay tuned for block diagrams and state machines.. They should be up by the end of the week. |
| 9.22.99 | Check out this page, which has info on the Bresenham optimal line-drawing algorithm. |
| 9.15.99 | A functional description of our project has been added on the Project Description page. |
| 9.14.99 | The project page is up! See the menu at left for details of our project. |
