Completed assignments should be emailed to the professor as PDF files (due to prior problems with Canvas) until notified otherwise Submissions made after a specific due date and time (without a reasonable excuse) will loose 20% credit for each late 24 hour period, or increment thereof. Some submissions allow two attempts. Prior attempts must be attached behind the latest attempt. Marked submissions will be returned by email Students are required complete a group of FEA simulation training problems. They will be reported in a MS Word (or equivalent) document that will contain certain information about each training exercise. That will include the name of the training, the date completed, a short comment about the usefulness of the task, and a copy of any specific image(s) required from the training. The accumalated report will be submitted as a single PDF file when the assigned problems are completed, but no later than midnight on the last day of university classes. A complete report will receive 20% of the course grade. NEATNESS: All submitted homework materials MUST be neat and look professional or they will be returned to be re-done. Homework should include the student name, the assignment number, the given information, the required information, assumptions made (especially any boundary conditions), and the solution. The Clear Linux material is being continuously moved to Canvas and will be deleted after each move.
