Stop the Violins!

Ryan Ashley Hammer analyzed and discovered the optimal way to view spectragrams that would yield the most imformation from frequency analysis.  He mainly creaetd and implemented the poster design.

Ricky Lynn Hardy, Jr. converted sound file from cd format into *.wav format to be processed in matlab and then back into cd format for cd recording.  He edited and cut sounds files while in *.wav format down to sizes managable in matlab.  He also created the final web design for the project.

Sunidh Y. Jani is where the idea for the project was born.  He scoured and selected which clips from songs that would deliever the best analysis.  In addition to finding the four samples used, he proofread much of the matlab code.

Christopher Baird Steger created the specifications for samples and mainly wrote the required matlab code.  He researched the data processing capabilities, wrote m-files, and found the best algorithm to use.
