     is highly recommended for analysis of heart rate variability, for our data pool was not as large as that required of a medical publication. Though we did not come to any novel conclusions about the underlying data or the spectral and time-frequency analyses, except to confirm previous reports, we are confident that additional research in this area would prove useful and medically important. We have seen indications that there is a high correlation between the specified neural systems and their spectral effects on heart rate variability, and we would encourage the exploration of the boundaries up to which this correlation applies.
